Datathon 2.0, spanning from January 31st to February 6th, encompasses three challenging rounds held online and offline. Round 1 prompts teams to solve problems related to sustainable technology, healthcare, urban innovation, finance, AI for social good, or cybersecurity within 36 hours.

Round 2 presents industry-specific challenges sourced from companies, offering participants a chance for internships based on their solutions. The final round involves live evaluations by industry experts, concluding with top teams vying for cash prizes and AWS credits. Teams of up to three members are eligible, creating presentations and videos to showcase their innovative solutions. 

The event facilitates one-on-one interactions, certificates for participants, and in-depth problem-solving sessions, fostering learning and networking opportunities. 

Datathon

The Data Summit 2023, Analytika's flagship event held from March 13 to March 15, 2023, was a celebration and exploration of the remarkable evolution within the Data Science domain. Aimed at fostering a collaborative platform, the event intended to facilitate discussions and explorations into the latest advancements in the field.

Comprising five sub-events—DataThon, Intuitive Thinking, Panel Discussion, Workshops, and an Internship Fair—the summit offered diverse avenues for individuals to showcase skills, gain practical experience, and refine problem-solving capabilities. This multifaceted approach aimed to bridge the gap between industry experts and aspiring Data Science enthusiasts, preparing them to be competitive within the industry landscape.

The Panel Discussion, held on March 13, 2023, at Mukesh Patel Auditorium, attracted over 150 audience members with an additional 2000+ joining via social media live. Esteemed specialists converged to discuss data science's transformative impact on traditional business practices across diverse industries. A lively exchange of perspectives and insights ensued, enlightening attendees on leveraging data science for operational enhancement and competitive advantages. Positive feedback highlighted the panelists' expertise and the session's informative nature.

On March 14, a Deep Learning Workshop conducted at Mukesh Patel School of Technology and Management drew 80 participants. This session aimed to equip attendees with foundational knowledge in deep learning, offering a comprehensive lecture followed by an interactive Q&A session. Attendees expressed satisfaction with the depth of knowledge imparted and appreciated the networking opportunities provided.

Simultaneously, the Internship Fair held on the same day at Mukesh Patel School of Technology Management and Engineering attracted 50 participants. This fair facilitated internships for 15 students across two esteemed companies, Univ.ai and Sustain Enable, fostering future talent in the data science domain.

The following event, "Hack the Vibe" on April 1, 2023, amassed participation from 1000 teams focused on credit risk analysis and prediction in the domain of finance. This hackathon provided a platform for students to delve into the practical applications of data science within finance, broadening their understanding in the field.

Concluding the summit on March 15, the Intuitive Solutioning competition at Mukesh Patel School of Technology Management and Engineering saw 13 teams creatively addressing challenges related to sustainable development goals. Participants lauded the event's format, highlighting its engagement and learning opportunities.

Featuring industry stalwarts like Kushal Lodha, Atul Tripathi, Miten Mehta, Deepa Naik, Anurag Seksaria, and Sandeep Raut as panelists, and Ajinkya Kolhe as a workshop speaker, the event enriched attendees with insights from seasoned professionals in the field.

Overall, the Data Summit 2023 successfully nurtured an environment of collaboration, fostering learning, innovation, and networking within the dynamic realm of data science.

Data Summit

The Data Feud event, organized by Analytika, NMIMS' Data Science Club, aimed to foster a platform for aspiring Data Science enthusiasts to showcase their knowledge and delve deeper into the field. With a goal to unite students intrigued by data science, the event provided an engaging opportunity for spirited competition.

Comprising three rounds, the event commenced with a quiz on Kahoot, a dynamic online learning platform. Qualifiers from this phase advanced to a challenging Rapid Fire round, followed by a gripping buzzer round where top teams competed by swiftly responding to questions displayed on screen.

With a participation count of 200, Data Feud proved highly successful, fulfilling its purpose of not only testing participants' comprehension but also enriching their understanding of data science. Attendees relished the event's immersive format, comprising varied rounds of quizzes and competitive challenges.

The positive feedback garnered by the organizers highlighted participants' appreciation for the event's amalgamation of competition and learning opportunities. As a significant addition to Analytika's event roster, Data Feud set a commendable standard for future engagements, promising more intellectually stimulating and enjoyable events ahead.

PlayData, orchestrated by Analytika, NMIMS' Data Science Club, attracted over 150 students, uniting them in a data-centric domain. Utilizing matching algorithms and interactive activities, participants uncovered shared interests, fostering meaningful connections among peers.

The event garnered enthusiastic feedback, praised for its distinctive approach and community-building ethos. Playful games and insightful exchanges not only introduced Analytika but also ignited a collective passion for data science.

This inaugural event sets the stage for Analytika's future endeavors, promising a continuation of community-driven, data-centric engagements, carrying forward the vibrant spirit that PlayData established.

Play Data 2.0 marked an exciting inception for Analytika, NMIMS's Data Science Club, aiming to delve into the world of data science while fostering connections among students.  With a whopping 450 registrations, the event astoundingly met its goal of introducing Analytika and unraveling the realms of data science to eager minds. 

The core objective was ingenious: applying data science concepts to pair participants based on similar or contrasting interests. Through games and partner information, attendees discovered the power of algorithms in building relationships and expanding networks. 

The event's success was evident in the vibrant atmosphere and positive feedback. Attendees relished the engaging activities, fostering a strong sense of community. Analytika's effort in orchestrating such a unique experience garnered commendation, setting a promising precedent for future endeavors. 

Play Data 2.0 not only kickstarted Analytika's next chapter but also sowed the seeds for future triumphs, solidifying its stance as a platform for exploration and camaraderie in the dynamic field of data science.

The AWS Speaker Session held on December 16th, 2023, at Mukesh Patel School of Technology, Management, and Engineering was a dynamic platform that illuminated the expansive realm of data engineering within the AWS ecosystem. Led by Sanchit Sir, the event seamlessly navigated through keynote addresses, real-world case studies, live demonstrations, and insightful discussions, captivating over 60 eager participants.

By immersing attendees in live demonstrations featuring AWS services like Amazon S3, AWS Glue, and Amazon Redshift, Sanchit Sir provided invaluable hands-on experiences, fostering a deeper understanding of data management and analysis. The interactive Q&A segment and networking breaks further enriched the session, enabling fruitful exchanges and elucidating industry best practices.

Participants hailed the session's content richness and engaging format, expressing contentment and enthusiasm. Analytika's commitment to quality programming shone through, setting a benchmark for future events and affirming the club's dedication to empowering students with cutting-edge knowledge in data engineering on AWS.
